Autumn Wish List

As summer is now over :'( and the weather is starting to become more autumnal the shops are beginning to bring in their autumn and winter clothes and a few things have caught my eye. So for today's post I've decided to talk about a few of the things that are on my wish list.

The first item on my wish list is a grey coat. There are two from Topshop that I have my eye on. The first is the Slouchy Boucle Wool Blend Coat. This coat has a salt and pepper effect in the fabric and is very thick so it'll keep me extremely warm in winter. The second coat is the Space Dye Boyfirend Jacket. This coat is thinner but it is a lot more afforable than the first and it could be worn with an oversized jumper and a scarf to keep me warm.

The second item on my wish list is also from Topshop and is a slightly cropped grey, white and black striped jumper. One of my favourite things about autumn is wearing jumpers and this jumper would look great with a pair of high waisted black jeans and black chunky boots. This jumper is also reasonably priced as it's only £26 so I will definitley be purchasing this soon.
The last clothing item on my wish list is once again from Topshop and is a skirt. This skirt is white with a red/burgundy flower pattern on it. I love reds and burgundys in autumn and this skirt paired with a black top, thick black tights, black Chelsea boots and a leather jacket would be a perfect autumn outfit.
The next item on my autumn wish list is a bag from H&M. This bag is burgundy which is my favourite autumnal colour and will be great to liven up the all black outfits I tend to wear in autumn and winter. This bag is also fairly large so it'll be perfect for me to carry all my stuff in to uni. I look forward to purchasing this very very soon!
Lastly, on my wish list is two make up items. The first is the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. I already have the Naked 1 and Naked 2 palettes and I really want to add the Naked Smoky palette to my collection. I love all the colours in this palette especially High, Armour and Smolder and I think the shades in this palette are all perfect for autumn and winter.
The second make up item and the last item on my wish list is the lipstick Dubonnet by MAC. I love berry toned lipsticks for autumn and winter and as this lipstick is a deepened claret colour it is perfect for this time of year. This lipstick is an amplified finish and amplified finishes are my favourites because they're extremley pigmented but not as drying as mattes. I will definitely be buying this lipstick when I move to Leeds at the end of this week and am finally living in a city that has shops that sell MAC.

Autumn Haul

The other day I went shopping and spent a large amount of money that I probably should saved for uni on some clothes for autumn as unfortunately summer is now over and it's starting to get a bit colder in the UK. So for today's blog post I thought I would show you what I bought.

Firstly, I went to Urban Outfitters where I just picked up a pair of shorts. You're probably thinking why is she buying shorts when this is an autumn haul but these shorts will look perfect with some black tights and boots. They're a deep mustard colour which I can tell is a colour I'm going to be wearing a lot of this autumn and they have a zip detailing on the front. I love these shorts and I can't wait to wear them as the weather starts to get colder.

Next I went to my favourite shop of all time Topshop where I was greeted by a lovely lady who took me down to the stylist service to try on all the clothes I had chosen. In the end I bought four items, a dress, a skirt and two tops. The dress is a bodycon dress in a teal/dark green colour and will be perfect to wear for a night out or even on Christmas Day. It has a pretty lace design and has a high neckline and spaghetti straps. The skirt I bought was a washed black a-line denim skirt with buttons all the way down the front. This is an extremely versatile skirt that can be paired with any top or any type of shoe from chunky sandals to Converse depending on the occasion.

The first top I bought is navy and white striped and has three quarter length sleeves. It also has a criss cross tie up detail at the front. This top would look great paired with high waisted black jeans, chunky boots and a leather jacket for a perfect casual fall outfit. Lastly, from Topshop I picked up one of the basic ribbed halterneck tops that Topshop sell in loads of different colours. I bought this top in red as I love red and burgundy colours in autumn. I plan on pairing this top with high waisted jeans or the denim skirt that I bought.

After Topshop I visited MAC and picked up the warm neutrals palette. I absolutely love this palette, it comes with 15 shades and I adore all of them. My favourites include Gingersnap, Dark Brew, Honey Lust, Amber Lights and Creative Copper. The palette contains a mix of matte and shimmer shadows and has a lot of coppery, bronzey and burgundy shades that will be perfect for autumn.
Lastly, I popped to Primark and purchased two pairs of pyjamas because I needed some new ones and Primark pyjamas are the best because they're so soft. The first pair I got consists of long bottoms and a vest top and are burgundy with cream spots. The second pair consists of grey long bottoms that are in a jogger style that are tight at the ankles. The waistband and cuffs at the ankles are burgundy and on the top of the left leg it says "there's the whole world at your feet in burgundy writing. Also on these pyjama bottoms is a sketch of Bambi on the top of the left leg and a sketch of Thumper on the bottom of the right leg. To pair with these bottoms I picked up a plain burgundy top which is so so so soft!

That's it for my haul thank you for reading!
