Holiday Haul

Monday is usually the day that I post a new blog post but as I will be on a cruise ship in the middle of the sea with no signal on Monday I decided to post my blog post today. As I'm going on holiday I've been doing a lot of shopping recently so i thought I'd share my purchases with you in today's post.

Firstly, I bought a couple of items from H&M. I purchased two playsuits, the first is cream with a black design and low back with crossed straps and the second is strapless with a purple leaf design on it. Both were very reasonably priced, the first being £12.99 and the second being £7.99 and they'll be perfect for wearing over a bikini to go to the pool.
Next I did a Missguided order in which I ordered three pairs of shorts and a dress. The first pair of shorts I ordered were a bargain at £7 and are fluorescent orange with white flowers. The second pair are white with pink and purple flowers and pom-poms around the hem. The last pair are navy and white tie-dye with white tassels along the edge. I plan on wearing all three pairs with a white crop top to explore some of the places I'm visiting on my cruise. Lastly, the dress I purchased is a white t-shirt dress with a flowery lace detail along the top and on the sleeves. This will be perfect for me to wear to dinner one evening on my cruise.

Lastly, I picked up a small burgundy leather bag with a long strap from Primark. I bought this bag to put my phone and camera in while I'm walking around the places I'm visiting.

I won't be posting a blog post for a while as I'm on holiday until the 7th August. Thank you for reading!

My Favourite Bands/Artists

Music is one thing I could not live without so for today's blog post I thought I would talk about my top 15 favourite bands and artists (I was going to do my top 10 but I couldn't narrow them down to 10). So here we go here are my 15 favourite bands and artists.

15: Ed Sheeran
I just love Ed, he's such a lovely and humble person with incredible talent. He makes amazing music and I don't think there is an Ed song that I don't like. My personal favourite songs by Ed include Nina, Afire Love, Grade 8, Photograph and Give Me Love.
14: blink-182
blink are one of those bands that I never get tired of listening to and my favourite songs by them are Dammit, Stay Together For The Kids, Even If She Falls and I Miss You.
13: Taylor Swift
I have loved Taylor since I was about 10 or 11, she's so sweet and insanely talented and I'd die to see her live some day. My favourite songs by Taylor include Haunted, Long Live, Style, You Belong With Me, Back To December, The Lucky One and of course Love Story.
12: Panic! At The Disco
The only way I can describe Panic! is weird but I love their music, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is one of my all time favourite albums. Some of my favourite Panic! At The Disco songs are Nicotine, London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines (you've got to love their song titles), Casual Affair and Build God Then We'll Talk.
11: Sum 41
I'm not gonna lie I discovered Sum 41 when one day I was looking for a song that featured my name in the title. So I would like to thank Sum 41 for having a song called Jessica Kill because I wouldn't have discovered their music without that song. My favourite songs by Sum 41 are With Me, No Reason, Screaming Bloody Murder, Reason To Believe and of course Jessica Kill.
10: Thirty Seconds To Mars
My favourite Thirty Seconds To Mars songs are The Kill (Bury Me), Capricorn (A Brand New Name), This Is War and Kings And Queens. The song The Kill reminds me so much of my best friend, Erin, because every time we go to this club where we live they play it and Erin and I basically scream the lyrics at each other.
9: Escape The Fate
I've only very recently started listening to Escape The Fate but they've quickly become one of my top 10 favourite bands (although my mum is not happy about this because she doesn't like 'shouty' music). I particularly love the songs Friends And Alibis, Lost In Darkness, You're Insane, It's Just Me, Until We Die, Picture Perfect and There's No Sympathy For The Dead.
8: Halsey
What can I say about Halsey, I just adore her and her voice is incredible. No one actually understands how excited I am for Badlands. My favourite Halsey songs are New Americana, Hold Me Down, Is There Somewhere and Hurricane.
7: Sleeping With Sirens
Madness is 100% one of my favourite albums of 2015 so far and is the reason why Sleeping With Sirens are so high on my list of favourite bands. There's not one song on the album that I do not love and although I really like their older music I love this album a lot more. My favourite songs by Sleeping With Sirens include Save Me A Spark, Go Go Go, If You Can't Hang, Don't Say Anything, Heroine, Left Alone, Better Off Dead, Kick Me, Fly and If I'm James Dean You're Audrey Hepburn.
6: You Me At Six
You Me At Six are one of those band were I find it hard to pick a favourite song or a couple of favourite songs of theirs because I love so many. My long list of favourites includes The Dilemma, Contagious Chemistry, Loverboy, Fresh Start Fever, Carpe Diem, Reckless, Crash, Underdog, Little Death and Room To Breath. Sinners Never Sleep is also one of my all time favourite albums and You Me At Six are an amazing live band.
5: Tonight Alive
Tonight Alive are extremely high on my list of bands I need to see live, their music is incredible and I aspire to be Jenna McDougall. My personal favourite songs by Tonight Alive include To Die For, Lonely Girl, Breaking And Entering, Let It Land, Amelia, What Are You So Scared Of, Don't Wish and 5 Years.
4: Mayday Parade
Mayday Parade are probably top of my list of bands that I need to see live, I love every single one of their albums and am ridiculously excited for their fifth album. Their lyrics are so meaningful and I have so many favourite songs by them. My favourites include Jamie All Over, 12 Through 15, Everything's An Illusion, Terrible Things, If You Can't Live Without Me Why Aren't You Dead Yet, Last Night A Table For Two, Walk On Water Or Drown, Angels, I'd Hate To Be You When People Find Out What This Song Is About (it makes me laugh how long some of their song titles are), Jersey and Stay.
3: 5 Seconds Of Summer
I just love 5SOS, they're insanely talented, they put on incredibly live shows (their Leadmill gig in Sheffield in 2014 was the best gig I've ever been to) and they're pretty easy on the eyes. I have so many favourite songs of theirs and I'm very excited to hear what their new album is going to be like. My favourite songs by them so far are English Love Affair, Beside You, Wrapped Around Your Finger, Greenlight, Lost Boy, End Up Here, The Only Reason, Close As Strangers, If You Don't Know, Amnesia, Wherever You Are, Good Girls, Disconnected and 18.
2: Fall Out Boy
All I can say about Fall Out Boy is what the fuck are half their songs on about and that I am so excited to see them live in October it's actually unreal. Also Infinity On High and American Beauty/American Psycho are two of my all time favourite albums. My favourite Fall Out Boy songs include The Phoenix, Dance Dance, Irresistible, Alone Together, Fourth Of July, Don't You Know Who I Think I Am, Centuries, Jet Pack Blues, Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying and Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.
1: All Time Low
Lastly my number one favourite band is All Time Low. They're just a ridiculously talented band that create amazing music and put on a fantastic show (I saw them live in February and it was one of the best nights of my life). I never get tired of listening to All Time Low and Don't Panic: It's Longer Now and Future Hearts are two of my favourite albums ever. My favourite songs by ATL include Missing You, Canals, Guts, Don't You Go, Forget About It, Me Without You (All I Ever Wanted), Dancing With A Wolf, Therapy, Ger Down On Your Knees And Tell Me You Love Me, Old Scars/Future Hearts, A Love Like War, The Edge Of Tonight and Just The Way I'm Not.
I apologise for this blog post being very long but thank you for reading!

My Week In Ibiza

On Saturday afternoon I arrived back in England after spending a week in Ibiza. It was an incredible week and I would completely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to go on a girl's/lad's holiday. Although event tickets and drinks are fairly expensive in Ibiza it is definitely worth it because the atmosphere is amazing and the clubs are insane. And although you're paying €5-8 for one drink in bars you definitely get your moneys worth because in Ibiza pretty much 70% of your drink is alcohol and 30% is your mixer. Anyway, today I'm going to ramble on about the events and clubs I went to in Ibiza.

I arrived in Ibiza on the 4th July and after checking into our hotel and getting ready my friends and I headed into San Antonio to get our face painted and then we attended Zoo Project at Benimussa Park. This event cost us €40 but it was definitely something you need to experience in Ibiza. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was cool to see everyone walking around and dancing with their bodies and faces painted to fit with the zoo theme.
On the second day we had no events planned so we sunbathed by the pool during the day and then went out around San Antonio on the night. We ended up in Ibiza Rocks bar, which was great and if I ever return to Ibiza I definitely want to check out Ibiza Rocks Hotel because the pool parties there are apparently incredible.
On the third day we had arranged to go to Holi Festival at Benimussa Park and this was definitely my favourite event! Holi Festival is basically a huge party where everyone throws brightly coloured powder paint at each other, so don't wear your favourite clothes! I wore my white converse and it's safe to say they weren't white by the end of the night! I would 100% recommend Holi Festival to anyone going to Ibiza, it was such a fantastic event and so much fun throwing paint at everyone. My friend and I then made the decision to go down the strip still covered in paint which led to us receiving comments such as "You look like a smurf".
On day four we went on the Plastik Boat Party which was insane! The best part was when the boat stopped and everyone jumped off and swam in the sea. However, treading water and trying to keep afloat whilst drunk is incredibly tiring and hard. The boat party took place in the afternoon so on the night we just went on the strip and had drinks, we were even given a free fish bowl which was fun.
On the fifth night we went on a bar crawl on the strip and then went to a super club called Eden, which has just had £40million spent on it and it is incredible! What made the night even better was that all drinks were €1 for three hours so we basically got drunk after only spending like €10. After Holi Garden this was definitely my second favourite night and if you're ever in Ibiza you must go to Eden!
On night six we went on the Cream Amnesia sunset booze cruise, then went to a few bars on the strip and then went to Amnesia itself. Seeing the Ibiza sunset from the boat was incredible and we had an hour of free champagne cocktails which was fab! But nothing compares to Amnesia itself! It is the most insane place I have ever been too, it's incredible! It's so large so it's pretty overwhelming but the atmosphere is electric! A super club like Amnesia or Pacha is definitely a must for anyone visiting Ibiza and I would really recommend Amnesia! Although make sure you get drunk before you go because drinks there are €18 each.
We spent the last day sunbathing by the pool and then we had a fairly quiet night because we had to be up at 4am for our flight home. So we walked into San Antonio and watched the sunset and then had drinks in the hotel, which was a nice way to end such a crazy holiday.
I had the most amazing time in Ibiza and I definitely will be returning there hopefully sometime very soon!

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
